We will see but TCU's performance today (lack of) probably didn't help matters any. Other than maybe Washington I don't know who else could jump them though so they still might stay in it.
They lost by 6 more points to the team they lost to a few weeks ago...and with Miami utterly destroyed, I think they are on outside looking in.

Assumes TCU and Notre Dame to the New Years 6 and Miami out (which could very well happen due to tonight's outcomes). I would be much more optimistic had TCU put up a better fight today. Regardless, give me NC State in Orlando over a road game versus Memphis every time.

They have Michigan State and Notre Dame sharing a game, which would be impressive.

EDIT: They fixed it, but still have us in Orlando.

CBS has also updated, has us versus Notre Dame. Would love Jerry Palm to be right for once.

Yeah, I don't trust Palm at all. When it comes to Bowl projections I think McMurphy is the best and then probably Stewart Mandel but he is a pay site now. Hale from ESPN isn't bad either.

Oklahoma 41, TCU 17

TCU isn't passing Miami when they came into today 3 spots behind.

One wildcard...This was Miami’s response after losing at 5-7 Pitt. TCU at least made a game of it for a half plus the outcome was similar to just a couple of weeks ago...Also with UW not making a title game in the #5 P5 conference is why I predict TCU makes it...but like many have said, logic gets thrown out the window this time of year...

Way more TCU fans will be at cotton bowl than Miami fans. Don’t see how cotton takes Miami over them.
NY6 bowls don't give a **** about attendance. They are selected based on the best teams. It's the secondary bowls that care about how many people would travel.

McMurphy just updated. Has us in Memphis vs. Memphis.

Maybe. But hopefully he has Cotton wrong. Does Committee make the selections? I am sure Cotton is telling Committee they want home state TCU.
