What if a Big 12 team finishes 5-13 or 6-12 and an overall record of something like 17-15. If the five or six league wins are all Q1 don’t you think they’d probably get in? Would depend how close the losses were of course but it wouldn’t shock me this year.

I would guess their out of conference losses would have to be really close to 3 very good teams away or on a neutral floor.

Drake and Indiana State should both make it if they can avoid bad MVC losses imo.

The ACC and Big Ten is really watered down this year as many have mentioned.

I would sign up for Lunardi's latest in a heartbeat. In Spokane with Samford, Charlotte, and Dayton.
I like it except being in the same region as purdue. I don't want to deal with Eddy until as late as possible. Purdue is one of the stronger 1 seeds and he is a nightmare matchup for us (and most other teams)

The problem for Drake and Indiana St is that any given loss could drop you like a rock in the NET. The MVC will be a one bid league. The NET formula has really hurt mid major at large bids.
Valley Top 4 in the NET vs RPI.

NET-

Indiana State 26
Drake 42
Bradley 63
UNI 104

RPI-

Drake 26
Indiana State 28
Bradley 33
UNI 76

UNI will move into the top 100 NET after destroying Evansville tonight so the only losses that Drake and Indiana State can afford are to each other, Bradley and UNI.

Indiana State is done with UNI (only play once, won in Cedar Falls) and has already played Drake and Bradley on the road so they probably have to beat both of them at home.

Drake still has UNI and Bradley both twice and at Indiana State. They beat Indiana State in Des Moines.

Bradley still has UNI and Drake both twice and at Indiana State and already lost to Indiana State at home.

The Valley's only path to 2 bids is Indiana State being 17-3 in the Valley or better and losing to one of those 4 in St Louis.

Purdue has to focus on making it out of the first round.

The ability to rotate bigs against Eddy and double effectively, I'm not scared of the matchup.

Their guards would STRUGGLE against us mightily. They would have a hard time getting into offensive sets and getting it to Edey. Of all the potential top seeds, I'd take Purdue 100/100 times.

Am I imagining things, or do we more often than not get an unfavorable schedule. Football, basketball both. The two bottom teams in mbb, okie state and WVU. We play both of them only once. How does this seem to always happen?

They decide the schedules by playing “ Rock Paper Scissors”, and we don’t have much knack for it.

We don't play KU at Allen, so that's kind of offsetting. At least that's how it appeared when schedule was released.

On the positive side, that limits the amount of potential bad losses we could have. One down, one to go

The Big10 is as weak as state fair lemonade. No way does Purdue even make it that far
