Hypothetically if Chris Babb was a felon I wouldn't see an issue with Bubu hanging out with him. They're teammates and it isn't a major felony or he wouldn't be at Iowa State on scholarship. When the person you're hanging out with has been convicted multiple times of felonies and you have no plausible basis for being around them you're just an idiot.

Note: Nowhere did I say a felony isn't terrible but there are different levels of being a felon.

Man.......I was shocked when I read this. He was just about the last guy I would have picked off this team to get into trouble. Discouraging, but I'm glad Fred is handling it this way, this quickly.

This I would never of expected this from Bubu, which is why I will hold off judgement till more information comes out, but it is not looking good right now.

I think the point is that this Cruise kid is bad news. Some felons probably can probably learn from their experience, and others are just going to continue to get in trouble.

1. he deserves the right to say his side of the story, if it is different. He will get that day in court.

Can't boot him yet. Not that I'd expect it from Palo (of course, I didn't expect this from him) but if you boot the kid and he ends up innocent you could be facing litigation. We've seen it before.

I'm shocked as you all are! I just wanted to throw some support your way! You folks are great fans and will get through this and root for your school with class! You always have! You have a great administration and coaching staff! They will do what is right for your program and school! When the flamers come in here just ignore them. Don't give them what they want!
Turn your focus to your teams that are playing right now and pray for the best for those involved in this situation!
