First off Spencer isn't a bad kid. Officer spoon deserved what he got. Second, I've heard the sa charges weren't true. But then again I heard from people that they are true too. not trying to defend anyone, just saying let the judicial prices play itself out before we make judgment.

The Ames Police Department has a unique challenge. The vast majority of ISU students are great, but with a higher population of kids getting their first taste of freedom colliding with drinking, they have a lot more to deal with than your average Iowa police officers. There is likely more of a resulting strict policy with things like wild parties and underage drinking than the vast majority of students would like.
