Bubu status?

I haven't really kept up with how Bubu's situation ended up. Any updates on if he is playing this year or not?

He was and he is still on the team until kicked off and guilty

They can't do much with him until the courts are done. If they kick him off and he somehow comes up innocent, he could sue the university.

I really doubt anyone would argue with kicking him off the team if he's found guilty.

Not too many are going to argue against you on this one. This isn't University of Iowa where the head coach would go into the court room with him and beg the judge to give him a lesser charge and have him back on the team the next day...... ZING

I felt bad whoever had to tell the little kids (sitting with Matt Thomas) who Bubu was and why he wasnt playing. It was an embarrassment seeing him sitting with the team.

Well, I suppose anyone can sue anyone else for anything at any time, but what would be the basis of this suit? What would Bubu's damages be?

Let him watch the games from home. If proven innocent (not pleading lesser) then he should be welcomed back. Going to be REALLY embarrassing letting him sit in the crowd essentially during all these games if he is found guilty.
