Awesome. Rome is a good interviewer on top of having an ISU guest.

Funny how opinions can be so different. Rome is one of my all time favorite national hosts. As he says, you either love it or you hate it.
Rome has more ISU guys on than any other national host, yet many on here like to **** on him for some reason. Seems odd to me, but whatever

Basically everything he is saying is sarcasm. Once you understand that he isn't too bad to listen to. I used to hate his show, then one of the guys had me listen to it with him and I was cracking up after a few days of it.

I actually prefer Jay Mohr's show, no idea if it's even still on.

I loved Rome when I first heard him in the late 90s. Everything else at the time was opinionless fluff. I got tired of him after a couple years, but I think he made sports talk better. Plus he had coach Mac on a lot.

Rome has on a lot of ISU players/coaches and is a great interviewer. He had Lanning on towards the beginning of the season talking about his switch to defense before he even made a splash to ISU fans. He really does his homework with interviews as well. Hell, I remember him asking Niang about his Volvo he was driving in college with 200k plus miles.

I also like that he talks about everything outside of the NFL (MMA, NBA, NHL, MLB, etc.) unlike a lot of national radio hosts. He also talks a lot about college sports outside of the powerhouses. When you listen to sports radio all day, it’s nice to have something different.

I used to listen to Rome quite a bit because of cooworkers, I never loved (or hated) his show but I always liked the variety of things he covered. He's always been pretty good to ISU and I know he really liked Fred from his NBA days. Regardless of how you feel about the guy, its great to see CMC and this program getting talked about nationally.

Rome is great when it comes to sports stuff. He is a great with interviews. When I want sports talk I like Rome or DP show.

When I want movie reviews, talking craft beer and regurgitated CYHAWK talk I listen to Local shows on KXNO radio.

Not a big fan of Rome but one time many years ago he sat reading the paper making comments on what he was reading and it was better than 90% of when he talks sports.

Unfortunately not. I'm not sure if he quit or if Fox Sports pulled the plug on the show, though.
