So are they just giving out the General Admission tickets? Or are they assigning seats for the student section?

Assigning seats so people don't have to choose between getting in line for the game or Gameday (if they come).

For kansas last year we just sent a few buddies that didn't have class about 6 or 7 hours before tip. Then when we got off class we brought them food/alcohol. Then we stood at the back of the line and let them just save us a few seats.

The situation seems pretty straightforward to me. The only confusion I have is where to set up camp. I don't want to camp out and end up getting screwed by students that show up Saturday morning (which will likely happen considering how things have gone in the past). If campers are to set up at the barriers (as we did last year for KU) then we'll be good I suppose. Hope they finally have some security/ushers hired for this. Things could get interesting.

I really want to know when they let us wait inside. I don't have a problem with waiting in line. I can do that all day long. What I can't do is wait outside in the cold forever. My body just can't handle that.

It helps for a while, but after a while it doesn't work. I waited outside for like six hours for the Michigan game. That was the extent I can do.
Hand warmers, good socks/boots and something to keep your ears warm is key! As soon as your digits get cold your done for.

It's ****** like you guys that really pi$$ed me off when I was in school. You stand there for that long and then you have a bunch of people laying across seats for students that showed up 30 minutes before doors opened. Hope they have things working this time so that those camping out get the best seats.

Have friends? Literally everyone does that.

I remember being a freshman and wondering the exact same thing-just what is camping out outside of Hilton for a game like? Not sure when you're planning on camping.. for Arkansas or to get Kansas tickets but I'm a senior and I have done it twice now in the Holberg era and its been a couple of the most fun nights I've had in college. Its extremely beneficial to have some kind of space heater that'll pay huge dividends but doesn't look like it'll be too cold so you should be fine with some layers. I know for the Kansas game a couple alumni or whatever brought pizza and one guy even brought some beer and fireball that was much appreciated.

My recommendation would be to have a group of guys going with you, get some type of concealed liquid warmth, and have a blast. You'll look back at this and think it was a lot of fun so have fun with it!

They do have ushers I just can't remember when they are starting. I got an email about signing up for the shift and wanted no part of it.

How many will be camping out this weekend? My group will be, so we're just curious about others. Last year for the KU game was a blast.

I know there's 3 of us camping and then I know of a few guys that live down the hall from me are as well. I'm expecting a big turnout, although that TimeFlies concert may cut down on numbers a bit

Curious to see how tonight compares to Friday night and how Friday night compares to Saturday morning. I would imagine there's going to be a lot of "campers" joining a group Saturday morning.
