Saw where they are starting the rebrand of Kum and Go to Maverik.
The one near me in CR has visibly declined since the purchase. I don't know if they are struggling with the internal transition or just don't care any longer, but I've noticed broken equipment, lack of materials like straws. lids, etc and just a general decline in the store.

My work takes me around rural Iowa often and though I generally agree that many of the Casey's have declined, many of the rural ones are still generally better. 9/10 times it's staffed by a nice older woman or some high schooler and they seem to have some pride in the appearance of the store. My go to has always been their chicken sandwich, but I do have to admit, its quality has declined. A couple times I've bitten into one that tasted like rubber or was nothing but crust.

People who rip on Casey's pizza crack me up. No, it's not amazing pizza but for the price and convenience it's pretty damn solid. It's kind of like the domestic vs craft beer debate.
Eh the quality can vary significantly from location to location so it’s fair to rip on the bad ones.

Took me what seemed like forever to get the new Maverick app added and ready to go. Not real excited, even though it's preloaded with $5 credit that expires in a year and 5 free punches for beverage (I think that's what it was.)

Cheese 'Puffs' are garbage
Normally I would agree. They're far inferior to the crunchy variety. But that only serves to add to the mystique of Casey's Jalapeno Cheese Puffs, because those wily Casey's scientists somehow managed to defy the laws of nature and physics, to produce an incredibly unlikely, yet undeniably superior product.

the puffy texture is just gross, flavor is irrelevant.....

The one by me is pretty awful. I've had serviceable Casey's pizza. It's just as you said. You know what you're getting and what you're paying.

But this one seems to dare people to eat this product.

Side note: the boy puked all over the 5 Hour Energy Drink display recently. They were very nice about it.
5 hour energy makes me want to puke too...

They need to make sure the stores match the standards of the new brand...
