Cats vs Small Dogs

One poops inside and you have to pick it up, the other poops outside and you probably have to pick it up. So I guess which one is better depends on your feelings on where you want the poop.

In my case, the one that's supposed to poop outside has gotten to the age where it happens inside.

Having grown up having cats, I'd much rather scoop the litter box than go playing minesweeper in the back yard (or house).

Cats are gross. I do always have 100 lb dogs though. My latest rescue I have had for 3 years is a 95lb Bulldog.

Like I get not liking a dog that is annoying and constantly barking but most small dogs aren’t that way in my experience. We had a Jack Russell Terrier and a cat and I liked the dog a lot more. Dogs want to be with you and cats are more roommates.

I have an old lab and 2 cats. I love all of them and will never have a small dog. Neighbors on each side have yippee dogs, can't stand those things.

I love my small dog and grew up with cats. The yipping thing is overblown in my opinion. The daily walks are a great way to be intentional about getting outside

I ****** hate small dogs but I don't think terriers count. They have big heads/brains and were breed to kill things. They can be awesome in the hands of a competent trainer.
