Change my mind - our bench needs to play!

Foul trouble does hurt them at times but it's not an every game thing. McKay is averaging 30 mpg on the season and Burton is averaging 29.5 mpg the last 6 games
McKay has fouled out two games straight hasn't he? Burton seems to get 2 fouls in the first ten minutes of every game. They are most foul prone along with Niang.

I agree, they still can't average 30 mpg down the stretch though.

I still have no idea why Prohm wasn't rotating in bench players more in the nonconference.

What games would you have liked to see them play more? When you are struggling to put away Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Coppin State with your regular rotation it doesnt bode well for getting bottom of the rotation players alot of minutes.

Our non-conference schedule was no cupcake and didnt setup well to develop alot of bench guys. There might have been 2 or 3 games total in early December/late November where Prohm would even feel comfortable getting the bench involved heavily.

Its ok we have fans willing to trade losses in those games for the chance to maybe win a game now.

Not as bad as I thought though. Burton doesn't seem built for more than 30 minutes a game though either

Not when he first started but he has looked good that last couple games getting big minutes

His best game of his career he played 38, granted it was against a bad TCU team. I do agree he probably needs to hover around 30 mpg. There will be games he plays more out of necessity and games he plays less due to foul trouble.

No I agree. I think 30 minutes is his max. Look at the Baylor game late.

We all remember the Burton from early on that looked like a tornado of teeth and fists coming off the bench but since he's started logging starters minutes @ Okie State he's played a lot "cleaner."

I just mean his build. Carries a lot of weight.
