Chris Babb still has a fighting chance to make Celtics

There is a short interview with Babb posted on the DMR website from yesterday. Asked him a little bit about the new players. Didn't have a lot to say since he had seen only one practice. Talked about Thomas looking like Scotty saying he is a gym rat. When asked if Thomas was like Tyrus, Babb smirked and said something like "Naw, there aint never gonna be another Tyrus".

If you are interested.......according to the NBADL schedule Babb and his Maine Red Claws teammates will be playing the Iowa Energy on the following dates in Des Moines:

December 27th 7 p.m.
December 28th 7 p.m.
January 23rd 7 p.m.
April 4th 7 p.m.

This seems a little strange because the schedule shows that Maine plays Iowa 4 times in Iowa, but Iowa never goes to Maine. But, that is what both schedules say, and the NBADL scheduling is a little strange, so........

In the recent CF interviews of the players, did anyone else see Babb poke his head out of the door behind Georges during his interview at the practice facility? I'm curious, during the season, are any former players like that allowed to practice with the team? My guess is no, but that doesn't mean they can't play in additional pickup games I imagine. Regardless, it is always nice to see former players still hanging around our program at different times.

I noticed Babb poke his head out and a commenter also made mention of it. Pretty cool that he was back sporting his NBA apparel.
