Not to derail the fun here, but isn't this a recruiting violation to have him contact a recruit to switch to Iowa?

Agreed. I don't think he was violating the spirit of the rule, but I'm not sure I'd be too surprised if the NCAA got a bug up its *** and tried to enforce this definition of "booster".

I highly doubt that, CyBer appears to spend most of his day posting and moderating on gobig12.net, he's pretty much the only poster there. I think even Hassel has more of a life than that.

Plus, Hassel has got normal sized hands, which rules him out as CyBer right there.

For those wondering if he could be affected by upcoming layoffs, my opinion would be no. If ESPN is laying off to cut expenses, the highest expenses are going to be those that have been around for awhile. It is not like he works at a union shop where the last in are first to go. I'd have to assume he's still at the lower end of the food chain regards to salaries there, so he's probably comparatively cheap...and since he's good, I'd have to assume his position is pretty safe.
