Peets Major Dickason is my preffered coffee, especially after a solid new years day awake and bake.

Big coffee drinker I work with brings his own Major Dickason K cups and swears by it. Must be good because we have free K cups of lots of other brews and usually a big pot of Duncan.

coffee machine was broken at work the last two weeks. Coffee place in town was closed for break. No coffee machine at home. 'Twas the worst.

Well most people who go to Starbucks go for intravenous injections of cream and sugar syrups.

Coffee drinkers are admittedly addicted to caffeine. Regular Starbucks customers are generally more addicted to fat and sugar (except for the 5% who just order regular coffee or espresso).

Personally I like the Cafe Americano with extra shots of espresso - which is basically espresso and water with extra espresso.

This thread started because my gf got some caramel machiata coffee ******** thing from Starbucks. Took the smallest sip ever and tasted nothing but coffee. I wanted to die.

Also, if I need a caffeine fix, I will drink something that actually tastes good, like pop.

Making some Allegro "Holliday Celebration" on sale from Whole Foods right now. Pretty big fan of their coffee and would recommend.

Living on the west coast on college football days I make a huge pot of coffee and watch the games at 9am with breakfast and caffein binge. Every ISU kickoff or weekend tip would be 11am central if I chose it.

We catch first kick of the first game and the last play of the last game and never have to adjust our sleep schedules. Pacific time zone kicks asss.

Coffee is for the weak minded. Just sayin. Get more sleep or change your lifestyle.

Such a chaste lifestyle you must lead to say this and not be a total hypocrite. Say this to someone who has a sick toddler and only gets two hours of sleep before working a 10 hour shift. Plus, some people just like coffee even if they get a full nights sleep. Just sayin.

Quitter. You lack discipline and character!

Trust me I know. It was hard. However, the heartburn was keeping me up at night, since I was tired in the AM I would drink more coffee, which just lead to worse heartburn and less sleep. It was a vicious cycle...

As much **** as we've been giving each other, who really cares if people like coffee or not? To each their own right?

Sounds like CF needs to come through with a belated Christmas present for Cowgirl. Who wants to chip in?

Brew strength is the biggest problem. Coffee need to be brewed at 14 tablespoons of coffee per 50oz of water. Also having a Technivorm Moccamaster as your coffee maker helps.

I don't know, I'm starting to hate the non-coffee drinkers. I haven't had my first cup of coffee yet. Maybe I'll feel more reasonable afterwards.

We started roasting the green beans and grinding them ourselves. I didn't realize how much better that would be than Folgers!
The amish are amazing. I didn't even know you could GET coffee from green beans. I thought they were jusy used in casseroles and stews.
