Why is it delusional to think Barnes has ISU at the top of his list? I mean, besides what your opinion says?

And I don't see anyone saying Colvin is more talented than Mel, just that he reminds some of him. With a few years of college, whose to say Colvin won't be a better PG?

Since you really didn't add anything to this thread other than to stick your nose up at everyone else, why bother posting?
Because Barnes wants to play for a team that has a chance to win a national title, and we have a coach who can't get his team up to beat South Dakota State.
Colvin hasn't even played here and some of you are saying he's the greatest guard we've ever had. Let's wait and see on that. Let's remember that the guy who recruited him let Bryan Peterson be his starting guard for two seasons. Mcdermott's judgement of Big 12 talent has been highly suspect.

Actually our judgement is too...

Who has said that?!!!:wideeyed:

I generally keep track of everything on the basketball board, and I've never seen anyone say that. And the rest of your comments are equally as much horse excrement.

An old quote from Aclone

"Jamaal Tinsley = Chris Colvin
Remember, we (or I) said talent, and in the long run, Colvin might prove to be even better than Tinsley. But the talent is probably equivalent. At least. How it proves out is yet to be seen--just like Tinsley when he first signed. JT averaged 11 ppg, 6.6 apg 2.6 spg that season."

Are you really trying to reason with this guy?
Yes, I guess it's easier for you to keep pumping the sunshine, then to notice that Mcdermott has gone (14-37) against the Big 12.
We wouldn't want to let that "reason" interfere with all your optimism.
