Keith Moon is the greatest drummer of all time, and any list that doesn't include him is null and void.

any discussion about the best drummer of all time that doesn't include john bonham is null and void.

moon and bonham are clearly the top 2 in any order with #3 being neil peart imho

A great rock drummer that often gets overlooked is Stewart Copeland of the Police. I'd put him up there with Keith Moon.

This would be interesting mix of sound

Vocals: Freddie Mercury
Guitar: Jack White
Guitar: Izzy Stradlin
Guitar: Ronnie Wood
Bass: John Paul Jones
Drums: Keith Moon
Keys: Benmont Tench
Sax: Bobby Keys

Must spread rep...but that is the only correct answer and the only acceptable answer.

Hands down my favorite, and for not only being critically acclaimed, but having been in a super popular band, he is strangely ignored by most people.

Vocals: Peter Hammill
Guitar: Robert Quine and Lou Reed
Bass: John Cale
Drums: Stewart Copeland

I heard this British rock historian say Brian Jones should have been in the Beatles and John Lennon should have been in the Rolling Stones.

Would have made for some good music (although obviously it was awesome as is). The Stones early music would have been much better since they developed as song writers later and the Beatles early music would have had blues influence earlier than they added it on their own. Despite the rivalry they were all quite friendly so it's an interesting what-if to think about.
