Does it really matter who they call up? The bad part is some of you actually think you still have a chance to win the division!
Just needs to produce and I don't see how this is desperation. He was going to play this year no matter what. They must have felt he had shown enough progress. Desperation would be putting Vitters at 3rd because Aramis hasn't been hitting.

Well we get to hear all off season how much better the Cubs are gonna be THIS year. Then when you ask them what have thay done, they never can answer. Then you hear wheeping all season long. Chicago is a nice place to end your career. Old or young.Dude just shut up

The last big SS prospect for the Cubs that had been tearing it up in the minors was Ronny Cedeno. We all know how that turned out. Here's to hoping the Castro experiment goes MUCH better.
Yeah... well the last one before that was Shawon Dunston... I'm ok if he turns out like that or better...
Wish the kid the best. But he is with the ultimate loser team, so trade him Cubs so he can become an All-Star.
I think he was just nervous as heck in his first home game at Wrigley. Any rookie would have ants in their pants in a packed home crowd at Wrigley. He'll calm down.I kinda feel bad for the kid. His 6 RBI game put him up on a pedestal and cub fans will expect that he be perfect from here on out.
Then he goes out and is a 19 year old and has 3 errors in a game.
They really should've kept him down for a while longer.

I've said it from the beginning that the first game reminded me of Fukudome's first. It's almost a curse to come in and play that well in your first game. Cuz, then people start to expect it night and night out. And that type of output nightly is impossible for anybody. Hope he can shake it off and get back to business. But, he's far from the biggest problem in Wrigleyville right now...
