is cyclones tv on roku?

- Smart TV app or internet set-top box (like Roku): Currently not supported. The only way to play Cyclones.tv content on your television is to incorporate the above setup through the iPad app and AppleTV or connect your computer to your TV via HDMI or other methods.

It was ok but far from great. I watched the VB yesterday afternoon and it was fine. The football game was almost a 20 minute delay and the quality was pretty poor. I think a one month subscription is going to be it.

20 minute delay and poor quality would have both been due to your Internet connection, not the stream. You could have clicked "go live" at any time to bring yourself back to only being a play or so behind. And you can manually lower the stream quality to fix buffering (I'm guessing buffering caused you to lag so bad)

What is your internet speed?

Did you fix the streaming speed rather than "Best"?

Really? Mine was nothing like that. 1-2 plays at most.

Heck if I know. I was just happy I got a computer hooked up to one of the TVs in my den without calling tech to come out. But if it was an issue with my stuff wouldn't it stand to reason that there would have been the same issues with the vb game?

For me (on Time Warner), the cyclones.tv feed was OK, but nothing great. SpeedTest showed I was getting between 20-30 Mb down, so no problems with the Internet connection. My feed spent alot of time at a lower bandwidth, froze 2 or 3 times for a period of around a minute. I had it on "Best" bandwidth, but when I tried to force the bandwidth to 3000 or 1500, it was constantly buffering and couldn't keep up. I was using a desktop PC hooked to my TV.

I stream quite a bit of stuff (Netflix, Amazon, ESPN3) without issue, so I suspect there was a bandwidth problem with Cyclones.tv. I got on late (about 7:10 PM). Maybe getting on earlier gets one a better chunk of bandwidth.

I didn't freeze once, and as far as I know, didn't downshift to a lower quality, at least not that I noticed.

I will say, quality of production wise, the Volleyball game was better done. Watching Volleyball, other than the awkward 'what do we do during time outs and in between sets' I felt like I was watching a network production. Football seemed like a HD version of a local access channel covering a HS playoff game.

Growing pains, I'm sure, and it was still better than the UNI game last year (?)

Neulion underallocated bandwidth more than likely. Maybe they need to get more servers.
