Just wild guesses. But I am thinking of oft-injured guys like Ayeni, and Luna. Justin Webster has been injured a lot. iI would guess Quan West, his name has been thrown about. Kane Seeley graduated, may want to move on. Possibly DeLira might move on.

Just pure speculation But that is 6 guys right there. And judging from the amount of DB's we took, perhaps some young DB's may not stay as well.

Hopefully this strategy of letting a receiver with a huge size advantage gets utilized with this staff. I remember Lanning coming in and throwing that first TD pass to Lazard, who was single covered, only to have CPR say it was a ball he shouldn't have thrown.
That comment convinced me CPR had lost it. In hind sight he might have been parroting Mangino. Either way a head coach has to know that comment stinks of failure.

Reminds me of when we had Jeremy Reeves covering the 6'6" guy from Rutgers.

Reeves was enough of a beast that he could handle tall WRs, but I'm pretty sure the guy that made that catch over him is playing in the NFL right now. Brandon Coleman. Butler's gotta ways to go to get to that point.

That Rutgers team had some serious talent at WR in hindsight.

Rhoads was a walk on.

I didn't realize how much D-line we're losing after this year, that's going to be hard to replace with all the young guys we have. I hope they're going to be ready to go in 2017.

I would expect CMC and crew would bring in a couple big JUCO guys next year to help with the attrition/youth.

Have to ask the question because I haven't seen anything about it lately, but what's going on with Cotton-Moya? Everyone was quick to throw his name around as a for sure loss this off season.

Really? Was it that hard of a question? When the coaching changes took place, everyone was throwing Cotton-Moyas name around as someone that was going to transfer. I haven't heard anything about it in a while and was wondering if he is standing strong at ISU.

If it has been posted in another thread then I apologize for missing it.

I thought I read somewhere that things got ironed out and he's going to stay in Ames and be a Cyclone. Hopefully I didn't just jinx it!

Cotton-Moya's name was out there. He has a daughter back in California. It was rumored that he might leave the Cyclones to move back closer to home to be near his daughter when Rhoads was fired. All signs are pointing to Cotton-Moya staying at this time.

Stephon Pickett-Brown is still listed on the roster. RS Freshman CB from Florida. Is it the same guy?

Coleman caught that TD pass because it was thrown to the moon and Reeves just mistimed his jump. Coleman caught it at waist level. Argh, thanks for bring back that memory.

I hope Stephon Pickett-Brown hasn't left because I think he could be a starter at some point.

Yeah he's staying, that's why it's dumb to bring it up again for no reason.
