Once again: do you wish he was still on the team? If not, then you are just complaining for the sake of complaining about something that has already been addressed by the coaching staff.
How did they address it? By letting him quit?

Oh so you didn't notice all of the players that were removed from the team this off season? How did they address it? By letting him quit?

Like every off-season. Hopefully this time it is true. You can complain, it's a free country...but when they start to make changes that directly address the glaring problems of the last few years and you then complain about that, too...it kinda looks like you're just looking for a reason to complain. Again...should we have gotten to this point? No...but for the time being, they're in charge. At least they seem to be correcting their earlier errors.
So letting a bunch of players quit makes them immune to criticism for a terrible team culture 6 years in and for recruiting so many players with that attitude? And not fixing it until we went 5-19, with two losses to FCS teams?
It's a fair criticism. I'm sure they would tell you themselves.
Perhaps it's time to ask a mod to change your userID. It's got to be embarrassing having it as it is.
I can't do anything but shake my head and bow out at this point. I've already said plenty that would counter what you said but it's getting old and tired. So letting a bunch of players quit makes them immune to criticism for a terrible team culture 6 years in and for recruiting so many players with that attitude? Then it's a recruiting evaluation issue. How did we bring in a guy that mentally weak?

I want my coaches to be able to
A) Reign him in
B) Never recruit a guy who wasn't talented enough to contribute despite being a ****
C) Figure that **** out before he uses a scholarship for 3, and now 4 years.
Rodney Coe is one thing, he was turning into a dominant DT. Cousin was never more than a rotational guy.
Can you think of a worse scenario for the use of a scholarship?
Obviously, the staff made a lot of mistakes with these type of players. There are tons of similar examples like you said.
Nobody said it was easy, but nobody should be saying it isn't the staff's job. They are responsible.
So what's your point. To me, you are making a solid point for them to get him out of here. Cousins with a good attitude was a valuable guy. Cousins with a bad attitude was not. Hell, Mutcherson (one of the most talented players on the team) was let go. I'm thinking you are just finding any reason possible to bash the coaches while internally thinking this is much of a loss.
