I'm not saying don't exercise, just saying don't go working your butt off everyday at the gym because in the end it'll do more harm than good.

Gotcha. I definitely think your body will tell you when you need a break. I'm off all this week from my running/walking due to strep throat and problems with my knees. If I would have just taken a few days off two weeks ago when my knees started hurting, then I might not have had to take the whole week off.

I want the one who tells me it's OK to eat KFC and ding dongs all day.

You want to see something scary...there is a helath video on the web I saw where they were talking about the "half-life" of these types of foods, which essentially was the time it took for your body to get completely rid of any trace of these types of foods. I think a Twinkie was like 3 months or something...

Anyway, they took a blow torch to a Twinkie and one to homemade, natural chocolate. The chocolate melted, of course (had a short half-life despite being not the most healthy food choice, but being all natural). The Twinkie essentially would not burn...it like charred, but wow...if I am ever in a grocery store when a fire breaks out I am heading to the Twinkie display.

This right here might be reason enough for me to never want to touch another hostess product again.

I never indulged that crap much to begin with...literally, maybe once or twice a year, my weakness was more portion size with just regular foods. But, yeah, honestly it's made a lasting impact on me and I won't even allow that crap in the house at all now.

This doesn't do it justice, but here you can see how much trouble they have even soaked in alcohol.

No hostess but what about these:

I honestly can't speak for anything outside of the video I saw...I am sure some things burn better than others, but in general a lot of that stuff is made of the same ingredients that don't process well in the body I am sure.

**** me. I want to lose weight. Whenever I start a diet, I am usually good about it for the first 2 weeks or so and then I start slacking. I just need to get over that hump.

I have cut that junk out already, but that video gives me a good reason to not touch it ever again either. Thanks for the motivation!

Heh, no problem...really wish I could find the blow torch one though, that was epic.
