DL Signee!!

He has too many good offers so he wont be coming to us.

Uhhh, what?

Offers listed from the page you linked:
Eastern Kentucky
Georgia Southern
Louisville
Marshal
Miami (FL)
Missouri
Ohio
Penn State

So I guess you have a lot lower standards than I do from what you consider good offers, or I appreciate what we have to offer a lot more than you do. I see Miami and Penn State as offers that are better than us on that list. Everyone else we are better than or are certainly able to compete with.

He grew up a huge Miami Hurricanes fan and recently picked up an offer from them, which he'd been hoping for. It would shock me if he signed with anyone other than Miami. But stranger things have happened!

That's what I was originally thinking too. But then I got to thinking, why would he come on a visit to ISU and go through all of that rigmarole if its an all but done deal with Miami? Why come halfway across the country and waste your time?
I think there is still a chance.

Yeah I thought the same thing.

Maybe he wondered what snow looked like in person?

Are you going offer an older Rivals or Scout story or some other info? I was thinking Miami may be full on recruits already.

I would assume they are full. You would think he would have already signed with them if the offer was really still out there and thats his "dream" school to play for. My guess is they offered him, then backed off because of injury/grades. I've also read that he wants to go to a school that will offer his brother also.

That is all I know. We stayed at Hilton Garden and had the free breakfast. Burnham and Rhoads were both there. I don't know anymore. (I feel like Mason Hudson!!! I know who Mason Hudson is and I am 51 years old.)

Wait a minute.... FREEE breakfast?? And when did Mason Hudson sign with CPR?

What I've heard is that he is questionable on the academic side and many of his offers including Miami moved on and signed other DTs. I think we are the best offer still on the board and hopefully the visit went well.

Questions are all on the academic side. We are in a position to take a gamble since we didn't fill our scholys.

Not 100% accurate.. Miami offered him right around natl signing day and he is an academic question mark. But, Miami has only 17 signed LOI so they definitely are not full and could wait on him plus they waiting on mr clowney....

Plus they have not signed a single DT theyve only signed DE's not to say that one or more wont move inside....

Awesome. So he will sign with us, and probably sign with a juco. Have to end up going the juco route, and in 2 years will sign with some big dog.

The breakfast is not free at Hilton Garden Inn.
