Do we go JUCO to replace George at MLB next year?

Forgot the kids name, but Rhoads has been talking to one JUCO OLB in particular looking to move him inside, I posted about it in the Recruiting thread I believe

Is that saying much? If White and Seeley are not even able to get snaps on one of the worst defenses in D1... are we supposed to count on them next year?

JUCO needed for Safety, CB, LB, DE, OL, and the right QB would be fine with me. That is if we expect to compete in the top half of the Big 12.

For starters I completely disagree that our defense is one of the worst in D1. Also, White and Seeley are sitting behind one of the best linebackers in the Big 12 right now, so I don't find it hard to believe that either will be solid next year even if they aren't playing this year.

George is nowhere near one of the best LBs in the Big 12.

I hate people who make black and white statements like this with 0 context. If you put our offense on any other team minus Kansas, I bet their rankings drop like a stone, and put say anyone else's offense minus KU with our defense and I bet it skyrockets.
No way would I say we are top 5 or 6 but you could argue they are anywhere in the bottom 3-4 in our conference if you based those points on # of possessions.

Slightly skewed with the 71 from last week. After week 4 it was 27 a game, 30 after week 5, now it is up to 36. I personally in the first quarter thought the Defense was playing decent, just being on the field too much caught up with them.

i think defensively next year we will be solid, especially at LB, please keep Jevon Miller off the field!

Like on the 2nd drive, when they got torched for a TD.
The defense doesn't only cave late in the game. They cave before they should have a reasonable chance to be tired.

The offense is horrible, but the defense isn't much better.

Baylor was going to score in the first quarter regardless though. I'm not saying you're wrong, but even good defenses with competent offenses will give up a couple long touchdowns a game vs. Baylor this year.

I completely agree.
What I'm saying is that our defense does that time and again well before the exhaustion excuse can be the reason. I don't like what our offense does, but I don't think it's fair to dump everything on them. A whole lot of it, but not all of it.

We'll have to disagree on that I guess. I'm pretty sure he leads the conference in tackles though, or is at least close to it.

IMO, leading in tackles doesn't make one the best in a conference at their position.

Yep, he is just pretty good, which makes him look awesome on our team. We'll sure miss him next year though, too bad we wasted his freshman year chasing kickoffs, he should have redshirted.

Some might say jucos needed for the oline.

I see Charlie Rogers as a linebacker as well. I think he has the frame to put on weight. It doesn't seem like staff likes him at cornerback anymore. I think he is similar in size to Jared Brackins or could be in an off season.
