JFC people, Walmart sells gold or yellow t-shirts for under $10. Big Mac, fries and a drink costs more than this. And missing a meal wouldn’t hurt any of us.

What other place tries to do it in early November against a weak non conference opponent? The main problem is you just get a lot of empty seats.

The good thing about the stripes last night is participation was so low that you could not even tell it existed. At least on TV anyway. Outside of a few random groups of 4-6 people wearing the same color it was business as usual.

The solution to this is simply provide the shirts on the seats. And to not do it against a terrible opponent that no one cares about.

Yeah I think they should either give the lower bowl shirts or just give everyone a towel. I sit in the upper bowl but I thought our section did a decent enough job at wearing gold.

I am a fan of these nights though. I know some people will always flat out refuse to participate but I still think things like the gold out and whiteout are cool to be a part of.
