In my opionion, if he comes to ISU it will be on scholarship. I don't think he will walk on here. No inside knowledge, just a feeling.

I'd be extremely amazed, but happy if he walked on at I-State. It say a lot about him and his love for his dad and Iowa State. But despite money probably not being a problem for the McDermott family, I can't see him turning down a free education to play bball at a mid-major somewhere.

As a child of the university, is he eligible to go to school at ISU at a significant discount. I think that employee's children used to be able to go for free.

Used to, but not anymore. If he walked on he would pay the same as any other student. However if he deserves a scholarship he should get one IMO.

I don't get why there is still speculation on whether or not he will come to ISU. If his dad is still the coach here, he will come to ISU, it's that simple.

Not what I heard. It's just not that simple. I think it's leaning that way though.

Couldn't disagree more. He will only come to ISU if he can earn a scholarship. That means he needs to improve.

Otherwise it's UNI for Doug.

I am not sure where Doug will end up, but did any of your see where the NCAA has told Greg he can't attend Doug's AAU games during the quiet periods because it will be a recruiting opportunity (not so much Doug as other AAU players).

Total crap by the NCAA, do you think if Roy Williams had a son good enough to play AAU ball the NCAA would tell Roy no AAU games?
