If u guys are satisfied losing all the road game and being a 7 seed then fine. We have talent for a 3 seed and play in Des Moines. We can’t do that losing to a Baylor team with little talent.

Damn right. Fred better be waiting at the airport to greet the team when they land and hand Steve his papers and severance.

This team has the talent and depth to win the Big 12 title and get a #3 or #2 seed RIGHT NOW, losing to crap teams like this that we are obviously better than is infuriating. If you are happy with 5th place finishes and 11-7 then by all means we are on the right track.

I, on the other hand don't think its too much to ask to win a regular season championship sometime in the last 8 years with as good as we have been.

You can’t blame this year’s team for what you perceive to be the failures of the last 8 teams. You also can’t blame prohm for the 4 years of failure of hoiberg.

He was really playing well in the game, and I thought he would be a big part of this game. Hopefully he only has a minor sprain and can get back soon.
Right? Was on pace for his best game so far this year. I hope this isn't serious.

@Knownothing taking a lot of **** but he's right. Everyone across the country is amazed at KU winning every year... Protip: beat conference bottom feeders on the road. Simple as that.

Side topic and fun CF social experiment... After a Cyclone loss, how do you feel? And were you born into Cyclone fandom or did you just inherit it after attending ISU or pick it up later in life?

My hypothesis is those of us that were Cyclones out of the womb take stuff like this much harder.

If you think you bring pissed has anything to do with anything, you’re stupid.

We are fans. We don’t do anything to affect if the team wins in the road. I guess maybe if one more Iowa State fan was in Waco, they might have won. Why didn’t you go?

The team wanted to win. They didn’t. It happens. It sucks. But adults can deal with it.

I'm going to rock your world...we are going to lose again.

No one is saying we were going to go undefeated in the league. No one is saying we are the Squawks ending up in the NIT, and no one is saying the Prohm should be fired and Fred hired back.
Quality teams that plan on winning the conference do not go on the road and lose to a poor Baylor team that will finish in the bottom three of the conference.
We are One of the best four teams in the league, if we win out at home, very doable, and then win 1 of 3 at Kansas, OU and TT we were good. With the lost tonight, we basically have to now beat 2 out of the three on the road.
This will be a lost that can come back to bite us in the ass.

What if we win at Texas, WVU, KSU and TCU?
What if we win at Texas, WVU and KSU and win all of our games at home, and win 3 in the Big 12 tourney.

Baylor was a late in the game 3 pointer from winning at TCU.

Look I get that losing at Baylor sucks, but 2 years ago they lost at Baylor, but if memory serves me they won at Kansas.

Grow a pair already

My first game for football was at Clyde Williams if that tells u anything. I was at the Colorado blizzard game when the attendance was 1k. I didn’t hate last year because I knew we were outmanned. However, this is the year we can win the big 12 and choking against bad teams is stupid.

Yes I can! You would think since this has been the best run in our programs history that at least once or twice they could put together a championship season right? We havent even been close honestly, as good as Hoiberg was we didnt even sniff a Big 12 title with him either. Teams that win their conference go 15-3 or 14-4, not 11-7 every year with the occasional 12-6 year.

I’m a lifelong fan. I take losses extremely hard.

But since I became an adult, I realized that things are never as bad as you think or as good. I also realized that no one works harder than the coaches or players. I realized that’s throwing a fit never makes me feel better.

WHY? This year’s team is not responsible for Georges failure. It isn’t their fault you are pissy.

Until Saturday NO ONE thought we could win it.

I bet you wrote the same **** after the Iowa loss.

Is he throwing a fit?

He's venting his frustrating to fellow fans and you have your panties in a wad over it. Isn't that what public forums are for? Interacting with like minded people?

Ok, we'll see how the rest of the season plays out, but Ive seen this too many times before even going back to the Johnny Orr days to know you have to win on the road to be a contender. The only coach who has done that since Ive been alive is Eustachy.

Duke and Tennessee didnt have any issues winning away from home tonight, thats what championship teams do.

No fan is happy about this. Just like everything else in life, people react differently.

There is no contest for who takes a loss harder.

Need to win a minimum of 5 road games to be in the hunt for a B12 title (KU won 6 on the road last year). Need to grind out 4 more, somewhere.
