The Bizon are a nice story. Well coached and fundamentally sound. But with the exception of K State a couple of years ago, their claim of going toe to toe with the "Big Boys" is dubious. They have beaten historically bad Colorado State, Iowa State and Minnesota teams.

Yup. And KState seems like theyre often more vulnerable early.... hence why we almost got KSU last year.

Feel bad for your Lakes. Too bad you lost so many on defense, you could have used those guys in the last 1:47.

YEA ONLY 4 RETURNERS , CARSON HAD A BAD GAME 2 MISSED TD PASSES, 2 FUMBLES & A 3 & OUT WITH 2:26 LEFT. VERY UNCHARACTERISTIC OF NDSU

ALL THAT & WE LOST WITH 3 SEC'S LEFT. OH WELL

Not-so-fun fact:

We've beaten KSU just once since 1931 when they finish with a winning record. Yes, it's lengthened by their own ****** history.

I really like the idea of us grabbing the grizzly coach!

He can coach and is a great offensive genius...he's well respected by many great offensive minds but can he recruit? That's always been the issue at ISU.

And haven't beaten them since 2007 when Josh Freeman was their QB and Ron Prince was the coach. Rhoads has had 6 shots at them and hasn't gotten it done.

I agree with this. Their 2013 team that beat KSU was Very Good. The other teams they beat were pretty ho hum. UNI smoked them last year.

Also would have helped if NDSU ran the ball instead of passing on NDSU's last offensive poss. Saved Montana a couple of timeouts.

Haven't read the thread but it was a fantastic game to watch. I was genuinely nervous in the last 30 seconds- no idea why though.

Kind of sad that their biggest crowd is 27k for a game ISU can't win.
