This will turn in we lost this game because of the refs but if you watched the game Baylor completely out played us.

Baylor outplayed us in the 2nd half.

If not for the refs, it'd be pretty clear we outplayed them in the first.

Impossible to say who would've won, but it probably would've been a pretty even match instead of ISU having to play catch up down big.

I agree that they were the better team basically the whole game, but I feel like the only shot we had was to get out to an early lead on them, and that was never going to happen with what the refs did to us.

It's a lot easier to outplay someone when two 3rd down stops are turned into touchdowns for free. And you can't discount not having Freyler the entire game. Minimum of 14 points given just on those 2/3 calls.

Sure we sucked in the second half and deserved to lose but if they weren't gifted 10 points in the first half where would the game end up?

Agreed, but the refs set the tone of the game early on, which was tough for us to get over. Which I think affected us in the second half.

Something to learn from, but still disappointing.

We got ****** by the refs to be sure, but we still had the opportunity to take momentum in the second half and failed to do so. Both things can be true. If they want to have a special season they are going to have to overcome stuff like that. They didn't today.

Adversity hits. Great teams overcome the adversity.
How about just a f’n straight up game? Why should the Iowa states of the world always have to be double digits better just to come out with a win? What the f did Baylor do to deserve such preferential treatment? Big 12 seems to think they are spinning the wheels for the betterment of the conference, all they are really doing is contributing to the eventual collapse. No reason for schools like isu to stick around the moment they have a viable option.

Refs spotted them at least 10 points in the first quarter. Agree Baylor was the better team in the second half.

Greatness is a choice. Stop thinking you're a victim.
