I don’t find that shocking at all since Yuki is the better driver. I just don’t get this continued obsession with elevating DR and if we’re being real honest Liam Lawson showed a lot more long term promise.

Just Curious. Danny Ric beat Yuki today. How many times head to head last year did they beat each other. I know it is kind of popular to say Yuki is the better driver but I am not sure how they did compared to each other last year.

Looks like it was 4-3 in favor of Tsunoda as far as finishes go last season, pretty even, but Yuki finished in the points 4 times to Danny's 1 when they were racing together.

So I would say they are pretty even. Since they are now 4-4. It's going to come down to Marketability. Which they both have in different ways.

Did he really beat him though? They swapped with like 5 laps left and DR didn’t do anything with it. I don’t think DR would have passed Yuki.

Ricciardo being quick still is a bit of a myth just to justify having a marketable driver in the seat. He’s a perfectly good midfield driver, nothing more at this point though.

This Horner thing doesn't appear to be over with.
Rumors are Jos talked to Mercedes (I can believe this, given Jos and his existing relationship with RB). Also saw rumors that Ford is looking at potential ways to dissolve the partnership (I find this way harder to believe).

Bottom line, it doesn’t look good.

There were a few pics and short videos out there showing Toto and Jos having a talk. Lots of rumors that Jos is demanding the Horner leaves. Sounds like about everyone at RB has a clause that if Horner leaves almost anyone can, and that may include Max as well.

This would be like if Phil Jackson got busted and Michael Jordans dad said "Get rid of him or lose Mike". No way Red Bull keeps Horner if it costs them Max. Apparently Jos was good friends with the lady that Horner was messing with. I am not sure how they cleared him. If there was that much evidence. The whole thing is just strange to me.

Yuki is mad at the wrong person. Danny didn't do anything his team didn't tell him to do.

They interviewed Daniel on F1TV's post race show and you can tell he was working extraordinarily hard to not just call Yuki a douche.

But yeah, he said these are things they cover in their pre race meetings because they knew there was a good chance Daniel would be on the softs and Yuki would be on hards at the end.
