Good news on JR. I am somewhat skeptical on the use of the words "close" with injured players cause it feels like at times, players have been "close" and then missed weeks. But regardless, great news on JR. Obviously getting Ben back would also be huge but for this week, against this opponent, I'd argue JR is probably a bigger potential impact to get back

I gotta disagree, not because Singleton isn't important, it's just that Hawk has been a stud. Brahmer would be huge to get back as another legit receiving threat. Either way, I want them all back!

Hawk's played well, but I don't know that I'd call him a stud. Orange is a stud. Hawk is a very promising young player whose playing well to be sure. And yeah, I'd like them all back.

I Just think JR as a leader, experienced DL, senior, etc... all those reasons are why it'd be neat if he could go

I've only been able to catch bits and pieces of KState games this year.

To those that have seen more, what is their greatest strength and weakness?

Passing game, both offensively and defensively is a weakness. Bottom 3rd in the B12 for both of those categories.

Very good offensively and defensively against the run

They have two really really good running backs.

ISU needs to use QB run successfully and Rocco needs to play his best to win. It won't be a 250+yd rushing day for Sama again. ISU scoring TD's and not FG's will be huge.
Like many have said, stopping their offense is a real concern and is a nightmare for me to think about. We can't have many empty scoring drives because possessions will probably be limited with how KSU will run the ball successfully and control TOP while scoring, hopefully FG's. Like EIU, but with a talented QB runner.
ISU needs to play their best game of the year and embrace success, not be fearful of it. This game is not ideal for a defense that is decimated, but sure gives a chance for the offense to let their nuts hang! LFG!
