The ****** started in 1917 and had been uninterrupted since.

So you so you, but this is horsesh*t

We have so few real traditions and we're killing one. So, yes, we are killing the mother ******* series
Not even being snarky did anyone honestly know about the streak up until like 10 years ago? The farmaggeddon name started what 15 years ago? We aren’t even their biggest rival.

I never really disliked them until their basketball coach said we were racist cheating spies for no actual reason and their fans rejoiced at it. Now, f them all.

Pardon me if I seem a little overly sensitive, CW, but spare me any lectures about how the Iowa State fans need to step up to the plate and show up for the KState game.

With no students around and Thanksgiving weekend, it's possible the stadium won't be full, but don't try to shame this fanbase because of that. We have done more than any other fan base in the nation to support a program with a very modest winning tradition.

I agree. CFB should just make Thanksgiving weekend a BYE for most teams, except for the biggest currently played rivalries that draws big crowds anyways (A&M-UT, The Big Game, etc). That would also allow the networks to highlight big pre-season basketball tournaments as well. Just my opinion.

I really hope there's still stuff in the bag we haven't already used. 10 wins would rank up there to the Cubs winning the WS, for me (and that was BIG).

K-States run game, and particularly Johnson running the ball is going to be a big problem. Wouldn’t be shocked to see them break out a lot of option plays based on how bad we’ve been at stopping it so far. If we can shut down the run then I like our chances.
Spot on.

And of course they are special team savants, so need to be dialed in there, too

CW is right on target. We're a damn good fan base, but if we don't show up for this one - this crucial one! - we are diminished.

So, so much on the line. If there's a time to show up and show our Cyclone Power, this is it. Are we Cyclone fans deserving of a national reputation - or not?

Huskers, in the same situation, would be there 85,000 strong. If we don't sell out this game, that says something ugly about us.

I get what you’re saying, but this could be the most meaningful game ever at JTS. If there was ever a time to pack that place it’s right now. Not many teams are still in the playoff hunt plus this is a rivalry game. We need to step up
