What are you referring to that Rhoads has been doing so well? I'm lost. Last I checked he's a long way from even being close to .500. Ultimately his fate will be his inability to win games. You can sugar coat recruiting and player development as much as you want but Paul is the one responsible. There's no excuses for the inability to be competitive in a pretty weak conference. He hasn't proved he can get the job done. Life is short, it's time to take a different Rhoad.

Hmmm don't recall saying that in general. What I have said that he's has won some of our biggest games. He has generated enough excitement in ISU Football that our facilities are finally close to on par with the rest of the Big 12.

What I asked was how do you know Rhoads hasn't developed players. How do you know they aren't performing above their potential. What is he not doing that other potential coaches are?

No sugar coating anything. Just looking at reality. Without looking at the facts you can't make an intelligent decision. So enough with the hyperbole give us your great plan. Give us some names. Life is too short to make rash decisions. Make your case. No one has really ever proven they can get it done at ISU.

Rhoads' players haven't developed well. His QB's at least certainly haven't.

I also haven't been impressed by receivers dropping balls, inconsistent O-line play, and seeing multiple missed tackles on plays.

Nice. You got the "we might lose players" mixed in with the requisite references to Saban/Alabama and "We don't want to be Kansas."

Fearing change is refusing to even try and do better. You really could have just posted "We are Iowa State" and been done with it.

I don't fear change. Making a change just for the sake of change is stupid. If we make a change, we need to have a pretty high confidence that we will be better because of the change. With the candidates that we will likely have available to us this year, I feel that CPR has a better chance of winning over the next three years than those guys. Tell me specifically who Iowa State CAN hire that will be better than CPR. One of the hottest young names out there is Tom Herman and it wasn't that long ago that we thought he was terrible as our OC.
