At what point does Leath get involved?
This is an example of what is getting just dumb about this site.

Fire Rhoads because he promoted Messing ham and gave him 2 years before firing him. He should have obviously Hired an offensive genius and should completely get out of all coaching decisions.

Hire a NC OC and former BCS HC Mark Mangino. Fire Rhoads because he should have done this 2 years earlier instead of promoting within.

We are leading now top 15 Iowa at half - 2nd half offense falls flat on its face - fire Rhoads because it can't be Mangino the man Rhoads gave complete control of the offense to.

We are tied at now top 20 Toledo - Netten misses a chip shot to win after we run the ball to the left hash. Fire Rhoads because he's responsible for our good kicker going bad, and he obviously put in the freshman RB and called that play because Mangino couldn't have

We play one of our worst game of the year at ttu, offense and SBR is abissmal. Fire Rhoads - I'm with you on this one horrible game plan.

We play #3 TCU - offense and defense look good for 1 quarter. Includes a crazy play with JL who doesn't see the field again. Offense does nothing for 3 qtrs, defense holds TCU to one of their lowest total scores and yardage. Fire Rhoads because obviously it must of been him that said don't put JL back in and called all the plays the the last 3 qrts.

We play #2 Baylor - SBR looks horrible, maybe the worst start to a game since Seneca in 02 against OU. We see JL in the 2nd half and we do well. BTW the defense held Baylor to its lowest point and yardage total of the year. Fire Rhoades because he must have made Mangino play SBR, why oh why is CPR getting in the way of JL being our QB.

Rhoads announces that JL will be our starting QB, and he just fired Mangino because they couldn't get on the same page. Fire Rhoads because he hired Mangino.

Since Rhoads hasn't been fired yet Pollard must have blind loyalty to Rhoads- Fire Pollard. Pollard would keep Rhoads under all scenarios we must get Leath involved, next you know we'll be firing Leath.

For the Fire Rhoads crowd we get it you want Rhoads fired, quit building so many strawman arguments. It quite simple Pollard is a businessman he'll make what he thinks is the best decision for his business after the season is over.

So people think we lose by less than a touchdown to a 3-4 team at home, that's a good reason to keep CPR?

No one is saying that, especially in this thread. Someone said "its not like there are any line movements in Vegas with Lanning as QB." Someone points out that, yes, there is substantial line movement. And that gets spun into "a good reason to keep CPR"??

Goodness people...

Because our fan base obviously had us penciled in to win against 4 top 25 teams to start the season and have us at 6-1 right now. Anything less is unacceptable. Damn the schedule. I don't care if we were playing 4 NFL teams, we should have won all 4. Fire CPR.

I know in ten years I'll look back fondly on all of those 20+ point losses we've had under Rhoads and sip wine while I think about just how close we really were to turning those around.

Rhoads is responsible for the poor quality wine- Fire Rhoads, fire Pollard fir not firing rhoads, fire Leath for not firing Pollard for not firing rhoads. I think the true problem is Obama - yeah Obama and the Koch Brothers, fire them too.

The only reason to keep Rhoads is if the team plays significantly better that results in WINS. Any other criteria is systemic loser mentality.

JP, Leath, Obama, and the Koch Bros are not going around claiming to be football coaches to the best of my knowledge.

Oh let me tell you my absolute made up strawman argument is totally accurate because I'm an official card carrying Internet frequent poster pitch fork and torch carrying tough guy.

Fire Rhoads, Fire Pollard for not firing rhoads, fire Leath for not firing Pollard for not firing rhoads and because I say so this is so obvious Obama AND the Koch brothers have conspired together to make this happen. (They are actually North Korean and want civil unrest in middle America so they can go forward with operation RedDawn)

Amirite?

Absolutely not, just joining in the fun, making my own unfactual strawman arguments to gain momentum for the coalition.

Where are we gathering to form the coalition for action or do we want to just keep this in Internet land?

Remember the mountains are far away from Iowa so to fight Obama and the Koch brothers we may need to consider going north. I'm with you Gunnerclone I believe.

And Texas will be a good loss if we lose to them, hell they're Texas and they beat Oklahoma not much we can be expect to do there. And Oklahoma St is undefeated so that's another good loss. Oklahoma will obviously be a good loss too. K-State has Snyder, no shame in losing to them, so really comes down to West Virginia, beat them and it's a successful season!

It's going to be hard to earn this many good losses next year with as many as we are earning this year. I hope our fans are still going to expect a lot of good losses out of next years team.
