No pairing on this one. Iowa brought the Senate closer to balance, with slave states still holding a one state advantage. Wisconsin came in next to tie things up.

There weren't really any slave state options at that point.

Kinda. The slave states didn't mind the imbalance when it was in their favor.
Iowa and Wisconsin led to the furor and rage regarding California and Kansas.
