Let's see if I can cover everything...

1) We bought some tickets to a game, so Campbell needs to tell us why he suspended these guys
2a) This is way too harsh, even though we don't know what these guys did to get this indefinite suspension
2b) It was just a little weed, so this is a complete over reaction by Campbell
3) Campbell is risking a post season bowl game by this action (ISU isn't bowl eligible just yet)
4) Campbell hasn't done anything to gain the benefit of the doubt, so we shouldn't trust his judgement here
5) Campbell is stupid for wanting to hold players to standards instead of just winning at all costs
6) Three guys today...one guy quit the team a little while ago...way too many player issues so the program must be in disarray...
7) Hoiberg is getting fired by the Bulls eventually...maybe he can come back and right the ship

He can't be getting much out of that scholarship or it would still count against the football scholarship limit. Same way with academic scholarships.

I think you have to be recruited (preferred walk-on) for academic scholarships to be considered toward football scholarship limit. Pretty sure Lewis had to reach out to CPR and staff to get on the team, so he would not have been considered PWO and count toward scholarship limits

Lots of eighteen year olds are idiots. Still, you only get so many strikes. I hope they can eventually turn things around and contribute, but if they can't do what's asked of them then they won't stick. Can't say they haven't received a fair chance.

I don't know about out, but I'm guessing this is strike 2. No more room for error for sure. These young men need to decide which direction they want their lives to head.
