Agriculture/Seed Production

Would like to focus more on logistics and supply chain but it's a tough transition at my level.

This morning I am working as a freelance pajama and coffee tester. It's mostly pro bono work like being a message forum mall cop. Branched out this last week and tested Nikon gear in sub-zero weather (also tested Hothands hand warmers). Also delved into paranormal phenomena research when my TV and sound system randomly turned itself on at 4 a.m.

Back in my five o'clock world days I was a project manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

I work in computer outsourcing. I work on the mainframe side of it. Doing automation and general technical support.
And no, the mainframe is not going away. I've heard there are a few schools that are adding it into the curriculum because after 40 years of telling us we were going away they finally figured out we aren't.

Engineering design services. Specifically a design software specialist.

I help engineering designers predict when/where/how their products are going to fail or not operate optimally.

I do a lot of teaching, mentoring, consulting type work. I love the variety of customers I get to work with. One day I'm working with heart implant designers and the next I'm looking at 100 ft tall structures.

That sounds like a cushy 9-5 job with no nights, weekends or holidays.
