Meat industry, specifically pork. Spent my entire career in the QA realm. Currently the Director of Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Animal Welfare for the largest antibiotic-free pork company in North America.

Go on............
Did you see the story about the air force needing a windshield for the B2, they had sold them all surplus, one dude bought them all and used them in his kids play house, they tracked him down and bought some back. True or not, not sure but I read that online somewhere this week.

I believe it. Used to do some military stuff, and back in the day you could buy all kinds of stuff from USG and sell it back to USG. Right hand, left hand, zero coordination or communication - your tax dollars at work.

Mostly what we do now is biz jet parts - lot of avionics, but wheels, brakes, pumps, etc. Have a few engines out on lease in Europe. Crazy business. Sort of like car parts salvage yard, but B2B and the FAA is involved.

In what industry do you work? You don’t need to tell us your specific role or anything if you don’t want to, I am just curious the industries in which CFers work!
I'm very industrious as I lay about in my retirement.

That line of work sounds fascinating. Gulfstream is one of the largest employers where I live and I had an interview with them in my last "new job" cycle. Love the world of aviation.

There is a part of me that would love to get into that world.
