Having a healthy Grill IS HUGE.

Kalscheur does need to focus more on his 12-15' game because that seems to get him going.

Definitely need Osun and King to work the post and not the perimeter so much.

BRE is also a piece this team could seemingly utilize more effectively. First of all... Don't force it to BRE if he's covered. Almost guaranteed turnover. If he gets the ball and has a decent look he needs to keep it high and put it in. No/limited dribbling allowed. If he gets the ball and has nothing... PASS IT BACK OUT. Also, play BRE MORE in the first 10 mins of each half and MUCH LESS in the last 10 mins of each half. BRE is TERRIBLE at FT's and everyone knows it so don't have him out there with 2.5 mins left in a tight game! He will get fouled and he will miss FT's. It seems like if we could just use BRE more efficiently it would have a huge impact.

Having Grill, Jaz, Holmes, and Kalscheur available to shoot the 3 definitely helps. If only two or less are in at the same time then our offense is much more limited....

Think TJ will hire me as an assistant?

He needs to get rid of the cute foot work and that step back jumper he does. Looks great when it goes like the win at TCU but it's inefficient. He needs to get moving toward the bucket and use the dribble more. He has a nice midrange, but I don't think he uses it enough. Too many shots falling away in his shot selection imo.

I think we're seeing the last few games that we vastly underappreciated Gabe on the defensive end.
I thought we’d be more athletic on the perimeter, negating some of the drop off in defense. We’re not that athletic. Essentially that same guys on the inside (from last year) while watching Rob try ISO’s and the same inconsistent 3 point shooting.

Feels like last years team minus the defense.
