Niang is a heck of a player IMO. of course i was drinking heavily during the game, but what i remember he clowned us pretty good last night. I still say Hogfather cursed us and brought the wrath of Georges upon us

Don't put me on blast because you didn't read the thread
And you get low character from any of this and call people dumb? You may want to read the thread. No one bashing Niang if he decides to go. I do think any educated fan knows he has a very strong connection to the school and his teammates and may put off a big paycheck to accomplish something he started here. Just something Niang seems to have in his character and I mean that in a positive way.

I spoke to an NBA scout the other night and I asked him if there is anybody he thinks will go to the NBA this year from ISU. He told me he didn't think there would be anybody this year, but of course that can all change.

And as far as the Nerlens Noel comments I think we need to flip flop it and let people know Noel played with Niang and that's how Noel got so good.

They were sure fun to watch last night! Lets enjoy the ride!
Fact is Noel hasn't won many games since he stopped playing on Georges team.

... yes, because the post I was replying to said Niang has too much character to leave. Implying pretty clearly that players who leave early for the NBA are of lower character than 4-year guys. An implication that I disagree with.

I will second that opinion. The world is not as black and white as some simpletons would lead you to believe with their propaganda. There are many factors that go into such a decision, and none of them can be directly linked to poor charachter.

People in this thread literally insinuated that it would be a low character move to go pro after this year. That is what he responded to. He's not making it up.
