A lot in here I didn't recognize, but mostly standards.
THANKS for this, although I knew a bunch of them.

One of my favorite things in life is to use super-new slang and watch my kids absolutely lose their minds because it is so cringe and I am so basic.

"Dad you can't say that"
"Hey, I'm hep with all the lingo"

Skibidi toilet? The ****? Lol

I’ve heard every other word in this thread so far.
I had never heard of it until my 7 YO nephew was over this summer and obsessed with the dumb videos on YouTube. Wife teaches 3rd grade and hears kids talk about it all the time.

Has Coach Campbell made the term "dog" meaningless by using it too much? It seems to have become a synonym for "team member?"

Off the grid
Eh, if those of us who lived through the early internet survived, I'm sure these kids will be fine.

And if you don't have kids, just think how much faster this situation gets out of control. :(

When my son was 3 years old, I dropped him off at daycare wearing a pair of checkered "Jeff Spicoli" shoes. The young 20ish year old teacher said those shoes were "tight." At first I thought she was saying I bought a size too small for him. Turns out she meant to say they were "cool."
