As I recall McD was in pretty early but Wisconsin was a big factor then also. They are not now. I have read that it will be Iowa, UNI, ISU or Creighton. Do not count out McD taking him at Creighton considering his past relationship with him. I bet he has already made contact. I am not sure about their scolly situation.

thanks for that riveting update to what was stated on the first page last night.

If he ends up at Creighton, I'll almost guarantee, he ends up at a JuCo first...My guess would be Indian Hills. Could also see Boozer doing this.

Wisconsin will not be a factor for Linn-Mar kids anymore. (Marcus Paige)

Can't blame him for wanting to go to CU given Coach McDermott's excellent track record of developing players, such as... **crickets**.
Thought McD was a centers man. Can he do guards? Did we run a point guard offense in four years?

I could see Gibbs doing that because he already used his RS year. Might as well play somewhere rather than waste a year of eligibility. Boozer, I don't see how a JUCO would help him. He's already an upperclassman in college, so JUCO classes won't help him much. And, he wouldn't be able to play there anyway. Might as well either find a small school that he could play at right away (maybe somewhere in SLC to be close to his brother) or a D1 school where he would be on scholarship for two years to play one. The only reason I could see Boozer going JUCO is to repare his reputation for a year while sitting out in a hope to snare a big offer.

The only reason I would see Boozer doing it is for $$$$ reasons...Of course, he could always make a phone call to the bro.

I love it how we couldn't get this kid when McDermott was the coach and now we won't get him because McDermott isn't the coach.

Did Gibbs commit somewhere? Did we offer him?

Thank you, Mr. Mahoney.

Grant and Grant are pretty good friends. All I've heard is that it was still very open. I remember when he was choosing a college out of high school he said he "still had all his options open" when everyone around him knew if Gonzaga came knocking, he would accept in a snap. This time, that is not the case, it is very much still open. I would really be surprised to see what position he plays. At a school like Gonzaga, where you can bring in some of the best talent, you can bring in a 6'5" guy and put him at PG, I'm not sure if thatll work at UNI, Iowa, ISU, or Creighton.

The wink for wxman was because we both know Grant (Mahoney). I just know him a little better.

No, I am just projecting as to what will likely happen since it seems to be the consensus that Creighton might be in the drivers seat.

Heard from multiple people close to the situation that Jason didnt enjoy his time at Wisconsin, and he hated Bo Ryan's style of play. I know Marcus' sister goes to Wisconsin, but i have been told that he doesnt have much interest after he heard from Bohannon about Ryan and the team, ect.
