Bye, Bye, Bye - 'N Sync. No other song in this or any generation truly captured true emotion and passion in the musical verse. Truly the folks responsible for such a masterpiece can see beyond just the music, but into the soul of a man and then take that into the speakers of the world. :jimlad:

Especially since it's not even their best song. That is probably "Jesus Ranch."

Um... let's see. It's really hard to narrow this down, because there are so many criteria. Here are a few: "My Generation" or "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who. "Cocaine" by Clapton. "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin. "Revolution" by the Beatles. "Lithium" by Nirvana. "Wild Horses" by the Stones. "Nicotine & Gravy" by Beck. "Life on Mars" by David Bowie. "Down by the River" by Neil Young. "Hanky Panky" by Tommy James & the Shondells.

I'm more of a fan of "Wonderboy" or "FHG" myself (two of my karaoke favorites)...

I watched VH1's greatest rock songs the other day and they had Welcome to the Junge as number 1.

off topic but does anyone else think the beatles suck but me? I cant stand there music

I'm 45, which should make me a Beatles fan, and I agree. Out of the top 100 or so best rock songs, I wouldn't put a single Beatles song on it.

Lucas Davenport and I have more than one thing in common.

BTW, the Beatles don't suck, they just aren't a rock band, and what they play isn't really Rock music. Even among the British invasion bands, they are the least "Rock-like".

What they play is "pop", and shouldn't be confused with music that originates from the nether regions.

I liked Nirvana but it's one of those cases where being dead helps your street cred. If Kurt was still alive, none of Nirvana's songs would be in the top 20.

My personal favorite is Going to California by LZ.
