I think I will wait until he officially says he is not coming back. If he leaves, than good luck to him at LSU. I appreicate him at least giving Fred a chance to talk to him.

I was more disappointed when Ham said he was going to leave than any of the others this year. Ham just seems like the type of player you want on a team - enjoyed rooting for him. Wish he'd been a little more forward with why he was leaving the first time, but I can't hold that against him (not wanting the air dirty laundry, etc.). Good luck Ham, hope you stay at ISU (I'd like to continue cheering for you).
Good lord, you guys are creepy. No official word and you guys go through the 5 emotional stages, all in one thread.
I'm not convinced that this is a statement of intent. It sounds like it could be, but in a very vague sort of way.
According to cyclonesportsreport it is official.

I'm telling you this is a net gain:
A big lumbering junior center who was brought in to fit with the previous regime's style of play
or
A freshman being brought in by the new staff to play the style of basketball the new regime is going to play.
I will take the 2nd option...

I wish the best of luck to Justin but i'm personally happy he is deciding not to come back just because of what you said. I am excited about the new guys.

When I saw "Ham gone?" I was bummed, because I was really hungry.

I would have welcomed him back — probably Colvin, too — as long as they didn't have built-in expectations about their roles in the new scheme.
At this point, though, I'm ecstatic that the only players we appear to be losing are players we had already lost.

The REAL reason Ham won't be back? He was criticized one time too many on the Cyclone Fanatic Message Boards.

I think it will work out for the best as stated above. We aren't an NCAA team next year anyway. Lets stockpile some talent.
My thoughts also. I would like Fred to have as many schollies as possible to work with.
We're gonna be awful next year, regardless.

That's the best use for it. Unless Harrison somehow made the switch that we all know is not coming. Then he should get it, and we are an NCAA team.
