If you wanted to hear about how ISU basketball was in the best shape it had ever been in with McDermott in his 5th year at the helm, 6 returning players (who clearly had doubts about playing for McDermott) and recruits turning us down left and right when it was obvious to anyone with at least any shred of objectivity that ISU basketball was sinking faster than the Titanic and KG was sounding more like Kevin Bacon from Animal House (ALL IS WELL!!!)...

I realise you think he's throwing out propaganda, but he still provides insite into recruits and other information most of us would never hear otherwise.
Most people's posts on this site are just their opinions. Kg usually gives just facts but when he gives opinions people jump all over him.

In who's opinion? McDermott's - or the team's? Because you and McDermott are the only people I've ever heard this out of.

By the way, I expected your handle to be changed to kg-bluejay by now...

Seriously, Both players CC and Ham have had their chance to meet with the New staff (which includes 2 Cyclone legends). They also have had a chance to visit with the Coach that was their primary contact in recruiting. They still have their shoes, they are still in school, still using the practice facility, still hanging with some other teammates.

You connect the dots....? Why do they not want to be a part of ISU next year....?

It is either their choice or the new Head Coach.

Man, the hostility some of you aim at Kg baffles me, especially since its at someone that never tries to pick a fight. He can have opinions too.
Personally I'm very happy to see him posting again. His information is very valuable.

Baffles me too considering when he has insight that most here don't sometimes people are more than glad to get the scoop from him. I have no problem with KG, if you are going to knock a guy that gives what could be considered insider information don't get mad when that source is no longer giving you the info you once got. He's entitled to his own opinions just like everyone else here is.

Chris is about as positive they come too and I don't see you guys ripping on him when he "defended" Mac in some of his writeups. There are days I just stop reading some of the garbage some of you post around here. They sky is either falling or you're kissing someone's arse and drinking the kool-aid and those days I'd rather just skim over some of the lengthy threads full of 90% pointless stuff and come back when people have settled down and are thinking rationally again. I realize its typical message board fodder but the quality and rational thinking of posts around here really took a hit over the past few months IMO.

I'm sure someone will rip me apart for this post probably too but I really don't care. Take your best shot because at the end of the day I could care less what someone behind a screen name thinks about my opinions. I post what I think and I may or may not agree with your opinion but it's my opinion that that what I leave things at.

I got no problems with KG, but apparently the issue is sometimes his information is misleading, like his "program is in good hands" posts. I take it with a grain of salt, so I don't care.

kinda interesting that you are more or less "taking a shot" at posters who have a problem with KG while "behind a screen name"...
