Informational or well done or funny stuff is fine but going to a concert to watch it on your own phone is weird imo.

Filming fights or turmoil is also pretty awful.

Fireworks and concerts are near the top of worst social media posts.

Hosts matter and so does writing. There are definitely lulls in seasons but yes, he nailed it this night.

Oh, I agree, but there always has been. Even during the '80s when Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, et al there were bad episodes.

And when they did start celebrating it again they called it the "Carnival of the Confederacy." They didn't call it Independence Day again until 1976.

I'm 43 and 44 in a few months and I'm already the get off my lawn guy about fireworks.

I seen all the fireworks shows I've ever needed already. Just done with them.
