I was banking on beating WVU but losing to OU. If we can flip those and win out, Baylor wins out and OSU beats OU at home then we are playing Baylor in the championship.

But hey. Let’s take care of business at home vs. Texas next week. Take care of business vs.Tech and TCU at home, that just leaves the OU game. It’s a stretch, but I genuinely think the team is good enough to have a chance at it.

I like your optimism. I'm not feeling it though. This team finds unique ways to lose. Feels to me like we are destined for 7-5 or 6-6. God I hope I am wrong.

Time to face the facts here, this team is not a B12 Title Game or NY6 bowl caliber team. It really doesn't matter that they still have a path if they win out, because they aren't capable of doing it. We are 2/3 of the way through the season and we have played poorly in half of our games. That isn't going to change at this point. We are what we are.

After Baylor game called for a 6-6 season. Looking good so far. Hard to win games when it's 2v1.
It’s one thing to say the calls sucked. They did.

But this “the world is out to get us” mentality is part of what gets us into this into these situations the first place. We played sloppy, and when you play sloppy, you’re asking for these things to happen.

Since the KU and UNLV games really didn't show anything it's safe to say that 4/6 of the other games are the best indicator of what this team is with the KSU and OSU games being the outliers.

There's returning to the mean and then there's yesterday that went way below.

I was hoping yesterday was going to be the continuation of a surge but the peak may have been last week.
