Is there another P5 team that plays two of its first three games on the road?

I find Maryland, UCLA, and South Carolina (with two SEC games!).

Until MC recruits better football players it doesnt matter where we play, we will lose.

They say Speed Kills and if that's the case, all the speed in the big 12 is in Texas...HellsBells go down their and recruit some freaking Speed.............

I don't think lack of speed is really an issue. Iowa and UNI were not faster than us, just better.

The only reason it happened is because the conference swapped TCU with San Jose State. When most teams play all their non-con before their conference games, this will rarely be an issue.

It is unfortunate that we have to play on the road against two ranked teams in the first three weeks of a new coach's leadership.

The unfortunate thing about our home games this year is the same every year! 2 games is September and 2 in October. So basically 4 times we can tailgate with the Thursday game in November you really cant enjoy it like a Saturday and the last 2 games of the year bring your overalls! Tailgating is usually the only thing I look forward to but more and more our home games get pushed back to the end of the season.

Last year was pretty good for tailgating. Best in recent memory.

Who the h#ll makes our schedule ?

And why does Iowa play three straight at home to start season and the 4th game @Rutgers -- a truly awful team they would beat anywhere, anyway?

Plus teams like Iowa usually have 7 home games to our 6 typically

Isu seems to always make it harder on themselves than they need too

Yesterday the Timehop app reminded me in 2012 we played Western Illinois at home during non-con...those were the days.

With what we've seen so far, I'm glad this team has a back loaded schedule of home games. If ISU has ANY chance to win a conference game, or at least compete in a couple games over 4 qtrs, it'll probably be at home late in the year. Or at Kansas.

Lots of things need to improve and players need to fully acclimate to the system. If that happens, we'll be glad more games are at home later on, when ISU "might" be able to take advantage of them and/or play 4 competitive qtrs.
