You actually have to have an agent for Nebraska to be talking to his agent. Who’s going to tell him?

What I find funny is that there are now people who believe that any B10 or SEC school can now hire a coach away from any other school. Just like that. Everyone else is now minor league almost like we're FCS. And they're perfectly fine with 75% of the teams in the country being relegated to the minors. As if when they go to their own little league, someone doesn't have to lose. It's f'ing ridiculous what "realignment" has brought us to. As someone who loves all of CFB, the whole thing makes me sad. Someone else is making a ton of money and the lemmings are buying in like they are actually profiting.
Nebraska, like so many other previously successful programs whose best years have passed them by, wants a quick fix. They want to buy an escalator to the mountain top.

Nebraska is a really bad job, everyone knows it, they will have trouble finding serious candidates. Sure they will get someone that will take the 50m contract but it won't be anybody any good.
Thanks for saying so. There are a lot of delusional Husker fans on Twitter right now saying they can get Campbell. Anybody spewing nonsense like "Campbell's agent is already talking to Nebraska" should be called out because it isn't true but I get it if people are saying it sarcastically as well.
Yes, it is much different than fixing a Tennessee, FSU or USC. They are going to have to take some chances on younger coaches and hope one hits and that could take a few iterations and a decade to pull off.

Isn't Bobby Petrino an obvious hire? He's made massive turnarounds everywhere he's been and it's not like Nebraska is going to bat an eye if he chooses to bang his secretary again if he's winning.
