The guy sitting next to me (Mid 50's) expressed each and every play how Brock Purdy is not that good of a quarterback. Every pass that he threw was "he's lucky the receiver caught that one" and every run (even the designed runs) resulted in a yell of "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?" No matter the result of the play, he would even point out that other receivers were wide open.
I asked him why he didn't think Brock Purdy is a good quarterback. His response, "I just don't like the way he plays. I think a quarterback should stand in the pocket and throw to the open receiver."
I told him there's a school east down I-80 that would welcome him with open arms.
I know it's not a funny story, but some of our fanbase just doesn't get it.
