People need to try and understand some of the reasons people abuse drugs. I doubt it was done on a whim. There's a lot more going on than just deciding "HEY! I think I should try drugs! It'll be awesome!"
I find him terribly boring and I think I might be the only person ever.
I like Wright as well. Another favorite deadpan comedian of mine is Demitri Martin (if you could call him that).
I saw that.
However, I consider John Belushi a suicide as well. Along with Heath Ledger.
Any time you partake in drugs and kill yourself, it's not "having a little too much fun," it's suicide.
Um, no.
I forget if it was Des Moines or Cedar Rapids that a bunch of us from Helser went to see him. It was fantastic.
HOWEVER, the most obnoxious part was everyone poorly quoting his jokes for the next year. Almost as annoying as those a few years after when everyone and their aunt and uncle was poorly retelling Dane Cook jokes (that were only borderline funny to begin with)

I realize its real popular to pretend that Dane Cook isn't funny but almost any comedian secure with their success will admit that a lot of his stuff is very funny. He is pretty well respected in stand up community. The only thing (which isn't his fault) is they felt he didn't have to work as long to become successful as they did. Most are jealous that he went straight from clubs to arenas.
