I’ve tried kolaches twice and found them downright terrible. I could be convinced I just had a bad one but man I think they are bad and make no sense to me.

Have you tried Coaches Kolaches made by Curvey? The are really good. IMO. Get them once a yr when I'm in D.M. for meetings.

You have to have ones made by 90 year old ladies in Protivin.
I was just going to say that! The key to a great Kolache is to walk into any small town Church on a Sunday morning and walk up to the sweetest elderly lady you can find while they are having coffee during fellowship hour and say "any idea where I can find a really good Kolache." You will have 5 elders by your side in an instant and I would be surprised if they didnt bring an apron and start making them in the church kitchen right there and then.

Great idea, but to be inclusive of Mormons, can the drink selection be expanded to include hot chocolate? Or coke?

Hot drinks are ok if they are not caffeinated. Caffeinated drinks are ok as long as they are not hot. Make sense?

Just an FYI, our tailgating is kind of bland or "different" as another way of putting it. It's mainly a few Tongan families roasting pigs southeast of the stadium in the parking lot and drinking kava (which oddly enough has a similar buzzing effect as alcohol but without the intoxicating effect? Though its an acquired taste its feels quite nice and relaxing) I try to join them every chance I get, they are pretty welcoming, you just have to approach them and introduce yourselves. There is "Cougar Canyon" to the southwest of the stadium with food trucks, a giant TV screen showing different CFB games and a live band as well as the ROC (student section) meeting in giant tents. The majority of fans generally show up around gametime instead of tailgating as they use the Saturday to get things done as opposed to spending it tailgating. We're pretty nerdy, lol. But I love going to away games and experiencing the tailgating scene with opposing fans. Maybe its due to my Scottish roots of being social and having fun? Who knows?

Funny thing, they OK'ed caffeinated drinks on campus like a decade or so ago and up until my twenties I always thought we weren't supposed to drink caffeine though there was no doctrinal evidence to supporting a prohibition on caffeinated beverages, now I'm sort of hooked on caffeine too, lol.

What if you leave a Coke in the sun all afternoon and then drink it?

Welcome to the big 12!

As others have noted, the way Utah thumbed their nose at our conference prior to joining makes it easy to take BYU's side in the Holy War.

When you mention “Cougar Canyon”…I just envision a Target, a Starbucks with free pumpkin spice lattes, yoga pants and Ugg’s as far as the eye can see….no man under 30 is safe in such a place

They are like a messed up danish, they aren't that good. Also, ever seen a bohemian family tree? Imagine a tree with a long trunk and about 2 branches that keep growing back together. They make the royal families inbreeding not look so bad.
